The Howick Santa Parade will be celebrating its 69th year on Sunday 11 December 2022, on the traditional route on Howick Village streets.

It’s a very well-known and celebrated event that East Auckland residents and businesses have always taken pride in.

The Howick Santa Parade has always had the philosophy of bringing the community together and positively putting many of its talented and contributing citizens on display, whether it’s as a family to have a day out, a school, club or not-for-profit group taking part with an incredible float or a local business and entertainer livening up the street with great activities to participate in.

In recent years, the parade has had 65 floats taking part in the street parade that runs on the Sunday afternoon, after pre-parade entertainment in Picton Street from the morning.

The Howick Santa Parade is an iconic East Auckland event, creating excitement and memories for the young and old, and an overall great free day out for families.

The Howick Santa Parade Family Day Out commences with free entertainment at 11am.
